Ah the A48 - a great sounding amplifier. All the lettering has rubbed off mine though and it's probably the most horrific looking piece of kit I've ever seen. Did you have the matching tuner? Why the change to the LP12? I personally would prefer the BeoGram 4000 (as nice as the LP12 is).

Stars Fell on Alabama - Billie Holiday. Great sunday morning music (although it's technically the afternoon).

Bear in mind this isn't intended as an 'every dealer should sell two a year' thing, it's a statement product, similar to say, the Bugatti Veyron...

You will need a pair of stereo speakers either side if you want to use the BeoLab 7-4. BeoLab 3s are ideal as they share a similar sound and the acoustic lenses work together nicely...

The answer is no, pins 13/14 are out of phase with each other as are pins 15/16. You won't get any signal at all, only the interference from the cable. I wouldn't assume so. The enhancements are the panel and the surround sound decoder, other than this and Blu-Ray being fitted by default, there will be little change. I can't see these upgrades alone being something to worry about/want upgrading. Improvements will be made all the time, so there's no point in trying to stay on the edge of

Currently listening to Send and Receive by Tycho . If you're one of the people who has contacted me about Boards of Canada , I think you'll really enjoy Tycho 's stuff. The album is Past is Prologue , which is kind of like a much more easy-going Geogaddi (which can be very difficult to listen to at times). 100% recommended music.

FWIW, it sounds as though the problem patroclos was having was to do with the inputs and outputs being wired the wrong way round in his cable, a problem I've encountered before. If you wire an iPod (or any other source as a matter of fact) into the output part of a DIN socket as opposed to the input part, you will still hear the source, just very
