We've had 2 North gatherings in recent years at B&O's King Street store in Manchester. Not so much a convention as an informal get-together of "like minded saddo's" - that's my wifes words who nevertheless attended the first one & thoroughly enjoyed herself, right up until the point when Jandyt arrived (Only joking

Other than the platters already mentioned, other Beograms which share the same profile & radial markings are :- BG3000 (the 1980's tangential one) 3500, 4500, 6500, 7000 & 9000. Any of these will match perfectly well but do differ slighly in the finish on the lacquer coating. Chris.

The BC7700 is one off the finest pieces of B&O I ever owned. I had it matched to a CDX & some MC120.2 speakers and it was just brilliant. Due to an ever expanding B&O collection something had to go and as I owned 2 other complete audio system I chose this - something I often regret. I kept the speakers though as they are simply the best

The original stands are actually mild steel box section & painted silver (all of these S/M stands are the same). I'm sure aluminium will do the job though if it is of a decent gauge. Chris.

We all love a freebie Jay, this could be one of Beoworlds shortest lived givaway threads I have seen these for myself & can vouch for the quality - I'd definately recommend them. Chris.
Let me know if you need any dimensions for the stands, and I'll be happy to take some measurements! Jon
This is actually a good point raised by Jon. I sold some with stands & the buyer attempted to lower them onto a bespoke arrangement & the sound suffered as a consequence. I didn't hear them myself
