• Re: S80.2 speaker repair
If you decided to go the re-vinylling route, you wouldn't of course be limited to wood imitation... there's everything, from lime stone to something Rich's wife would approve
The only thing my wife approves of any more is "NO MORE BEO"!

  • Re: Beogram 4004 & Beomaster 4400 Maintenance and speaker ideas.
When I was in college in the late 70's, I purchased a Beogram 4004 and Beomaster 4400. I believe they cost me about 6 months of my income back then. I enjoyed them for about 4 years before they were stolen. Since then, whenever I see an old LP, I think back to my old system. I have owned many systems since then

  • Re: BG4002 Down! (Back up already)

Funny - I had the S40s mounted on the wall in the garage, ear height when standing, and they sounded better. Also, the volume of the garage is at least three times the volume of the guest bedroom. I am kind of stuck with position for the S40s in the guest bedroom. On dressers, almost backed up to the wall.

Uber-member Dillen (aka Martin) likely can help. Be patient. He will probably find this thread shortly.

  • Re: age of members

45 years young, married with two budding Beophile girls turning 5 and 4 later this year. First B&O was a new Beogram RX 2 I received for my 21st birthday. Most recent purchases were two Beogram 3404s to tide me over while my Beogram 4002 was in the shop. Current wish list: Beocord 2400 reel to reel, Beocord 5000, Beocord 2200, Beovox P45, Beogram

  • Re: BM4000 - waiting to travel the world...

how so much violent damage could happen to one of these things internally.....
So do I. Looks like someone with superficial knowledge tried to fix it but was causing more trouble than he repaired. Don't know much where it was done but the guy who sold it to me told me already

  • Re: BeoVox Penta 6611 service manual
One property of the Pentas I particularly like is that they sound full at low volume. You can easily enjoy them at levels where most other speakers would have you reaching for either volume up or loudness on; nice for an apartment...
That is a nice property to have! Are the passive Pentas easily driven by

Better?
Much better, but how is it playing now, after, I suppuse, several trial runs, and did you check the speed again. Congratulations it looks beautiful.
I have checked the speed just about every day the past week and both speeds have been spot on. One thing

  • Re: Flash your B&O!
Mine girl likes my BEO installation a lot but complains about the size of the TV. Now she is asking for another vendor... NO WAY. Hej, it is not always about the size, isn´t it? I am waiting for a larger BV10. I am sorry reading your issues with your wifes / girls and for BEOs future I hope it is not about BEO
