Hi all, I've just decided to buy an Avant (it's a 1998 model 28" VCR) - because it's for so little £ i thought 'why not!' I want to hook it up to my beosystem 6500/7000 so I can have TV sound out of the Penta Labs i use with my music set-up. Hi all, Just collected pair of virtually mint Penta II's bought via ebay. Connected them up to a Beosystem 2500 with Power Link cables etc. Sound is superb - however, I was expecting to be able to get the digital displays....? Nothing! I am using a 2-way remote (Beolink 5000) if that makes any difference...? Am I missing something quite obvious

Oh yes i agree Jandyt completely - the 7000 is an amazing thing in good condition etc. but seems to me when something goes on it there's a fair chance these days you cant repair it - or it will cost a lot to do so if it's possible.
