Yes, the leaf springs are adjusted by the screws, that's the way to set the platter height and correct for any horizontal tilt. I am not sure about the little C-hooks. I've seen them mounted both ways. I like to mount them all the same way, but I don't think it matters that much. If you glue the C-hooks to the _^_ hooks in an upright position

Great to read stories like this ! The subplatter has three little keys that will fit into matching cutouts in the spindle. If they are not fitted correctly the platter will be off horizontally. Hopefully the wow that remains is of the WOW! type rather than the type you use electronic instruments to measure... Martin

Could be the wires shortcircuiting somewhere. I would also look for an eventual solder blob between pins 17 and 18 of the processor. Martin

Actually, i currently have one here but it's not mine. It's always extremely hard to put prices on these old beauties. To some people is just 25 Kg's of old junk while it may have great value to others. These are great machines and a well serviced machine like this will certainly be worth a bit. It's like with all vintage B&O's;

Check the speed offset trimmers on the main board. It's very common to see them fail. There is one for 33 and one for 45. Replace them both if in any doubt. They are located near the rearmost right corner in most versions. Martin
