Subir Pramanik . However I am afraid I don't think the letters SP are in honour of him. Engineer Pramanik joined B&O in 1965; the SP1 was introduced in 1960 and was the brainchild of Eric Rørbæk Madsen. I have a suspicion that SP stands for Stereo Pick-up!

  • Re: What's this old speaker?

Very interesting little speaker! You should have bought it! B&O's first foray into ALT technology! It is a separate omnidirectional tweeter - Frede has a pair. I think they are from the 50s. • Re: Beogram 3000 + 3000 tuner & amp

The other question has to be - which Beogram and Beomaster 3000! 70s or 80s?

  • Re: Beovision 3, sky+ and getting the beo4 remote to work

Depends on which Sky+ box - my sensor is just to the right of the row of silver buttons - it is a Pace - the best sort! You do need to change the setting on the STB-C though. Turn the TV on to TV, press Menu then scroll down to set up. Press Go and then gto to connections. That will bring up what is attached and one will be STB-C decoder, Highlight

  • Re: BeO5 and GENEVA SOUND SYSTEM

Not easily! It is possible as the Beo5 can be programmed to emit the correct remote sequences but only Keith seems expert in this. In practical terms, the answer is no!
