Peter : 3. You need a stylus balance - B&O cartridges came with a nice simple one - the accessories are pictured here . And the adjustment is done with a screw on the right side of the arm carriage, near the telltale text "stylus weight adjusting" There's a dial for the weight as well, but the 0 point might not be true, so cheking

Does the sound interval match the revs of the platter? If the platter height adjustment is not quite right, the underside of it might rub the belt or something else and make the sound. Another thing that obviously moves about once a second is the arm itself. I can't think of any reason why the servo that moves it could cause any sound, though -

Thanks for all the thanks! As most of you probably know, making a decent presentation is one of the most tedious parts of photography, so I'm glad there was an audience The most impressive part of this gig was the incredible amount of effort the Chinese had put into everything. That would make us Finns feel right at home! Well, after sweating for three weeks in Beijing, I'm now in sweet solitude at the summer house, having sauna

Nevertheless, I'd still never do anything through email links, however genuine they might be. All the required operations should be available just

henrik: Back in the 80s and early 90s I used to think the Pentas were gorgeous, but nowadays I find their looks very dated - much more so than any other B&O product from that time. I don't like their looks at all now, I find them ugly. I agree with Dave! I agree that they look very 90s (which means that in the 80s they must've looked quite

You might just try connecting the Y and C signals from the S-video socket together. The composite signal is just a sum of them. This is not the quite correct way to do it, but depending on the equipment, length of cabling, etc, you might get away with it and have a pretty decent picture. Many TV out display adapters do just this in their adapters (an
