Welcome to Beoworld ! I would start looking at the two trimmers on the motor control board, they tend to come apart physically. Any good repairshop will have new parts and the skills to replace them. Martin

You will probably be replacing the lamp as a discrete component. I don't have the manual at hand but it's probably a 24V 25mA or so. You should be able to see it shine in the housing. If not, put a voltmeter across its wires. If you have about 20 volts or so and no light, the lamp is at fault. Martin

You can't - I have it here ! Martin

It could easily be the belt slipping. Has the belt been renewed recently and if so, are you sure it's of the correct size ? Try adding a little finger-brake when it plays to see if the belt slips on the motor pulley or the pulley slips on the motor shaft, I've seen this happen only three or four days ago on a 4002. Martin

I don't have the service manual at hand but I will take a look as soon as I do. It is a fault and a strange one at that, definitely one of the cases I wish'ed, I had on the bench here. Martin
