We're here alright. I think the original poster got an answer to his question. Martin

Swap the woofers to see if the problem follows the driver or the rest of the speaker. Martin

Hi John and welcome to Beoworld ! If I understand your post correctly, you need a set of drivebelts for the cassettesection in a Beocenter 7007. I can supply those. I may also be able to help you with DIN plugs and/or cables to your specifications. PM me for details. The Beogram CD X springs to mind as a suitable CD player, or maybe a CD3300. Your local

Without mains connected, check that the voltage setting switch is working, rotating and clicking as it's supposed to and that it was not set between it's marked positions by accident and of course that it is left in the correct position according to your mains voltage. It's a long story but basically, over time, it will most likely happen to each and every segment. Vibrations make things worse and that's probably why the displays in the Beocord models seems to be the first ones to

Thanks for the positive feedback, Nick, it means a lot coming from a guy like you ! There is a specific kit for each model. Or at least there will be. The number of different machine versions and also different models of displays are almost endless. So far, I have kits ready for Beocord 6000,6002,8000,8002,8004,9000 and Beomaster 6000,8000 The rebuild

More likely to be a capacitor problem I think. I've seen many cases where dried out caps made one speaker "heavier" to drive than the other. If you are unsure, swap the woofers to help diagnosing. Martin
