I guess it is the cable. What sort of input output sockets are on the jukebox and what sort of cable do you have. If it has RCA plugs, you need a 4 RCA plug to 5 pin DIN lead and if mini-jackplugs, again you need two stereojacks to 5 pin DIN. I attach the specs for the 6500 which is as good as identical to the 7000.

This actually connects the pre and power amplifiers and if you remove the plug, the power amplifier will get no signal. Obviosly a graphic equaliser will take the signal, process it and send it back (never heard of anyone actually doing this!! I do however use a similar connection on my Beomaster 5500 to attach a good headphone amplifier which takes

  • Re: Beocentre 9000 Advice Please

Afraid that sounds like a component failure and will require a trip to the service department. It could be as little as one capacitor though it is impossible to diagnose on the net.

Agree with checking the speaker switches. Try using some headphones as well. The double sided tape all needs to be removed - it also holds the platter surround on and this will go at some time! I used an alcohol cleaner and a lot of time! To fix it back I use two pack epoxy - I have done 4 of these now! These are great systems - I have a later one with

  • Re: Beogram 1700

The CL really does need to be warm - A light bulb shining on it will often help! It is in my opinion the best cartridge made by B&O. It should outperform your Dual if it is working properly. One fault with most B&O decks in the lack of record support. A felt mat cut to cover the grey areas can help if you do not mind the looks. By the way, this

  • Re: beogram 6500 question

Well this is the circuit with the bulb in it - I suppose the transistor is faulty - how much does it bother you? You could just take the bulb out - I think they are fairly useless anyway!
