I dunno - I would say it is a genuine B&O product because of the finish of the metal, its exactly the same finish as for instance a Beogram 3500/4500 wall shelf etc. There is no makers mark that I can see although I havent looked underneath it. B&O or not, its definately been designed for this system! Weird....

Heres some pics - You can see that the rear cover is adjustable to suit the amount of components you have. Sorry about the rubbish quality/lighting. The camera is not the iPhones strongest feature! :-)

I have a Beosystem 5500 cabinet but I can't find any info about it on the net at all - It's definately a genuine Bang & Olufsen product. It is basically a cabinet with a smoked glass door on the front and a metal box section on the rear for cable management. It also has an integrated power supply for the four components. Has anyone seen

Its essentially 3 sections. The front plate, top and bottom and of course the fret. Dead simple and very apparent once you have removed the fret but you wont get the top and bottom covers off without wrecking them! it might be worth trying to pry them off very carefully with a hot stanley blade or similar if you wish to keep them for spares! Hope this

Just spoke to him and he is not interested in selling them at this time! I'll let you know if anything changes... Sorry about that!

Visit www.retrorides.proboards86.com - There is loads of project cars for sale on there and they are always really cheap. The site is great too with really friendly people and good resources if you are into the classic/retro car scene. Hope this helps, Llewelyn

These are quite handy, they can fault find on Powerlink and ML. Only really useful for installers to be fair, I wouldn't pay over the odds for it.
