I'll be very interested to hear about your experience with this. I'm curious how the PUC control will work.

As I understand, the Beosystem 3 can register a Geffin HDMI expander to expand one of the 4 Beosystem 3 HDMI ports, thereby adding 3 additional HDMI ports. This would total 7 HDMI ports; however, the Beosystem 3 only has 6 AV inputs. Does anyone know if the Beosystem 3 allows the registration of a seventh AV input to accommodate the 7th HDMI input when

For a BeoLink Active or BeoLink Passive, the software version must be at least 1.6. Also, In order to enable ML Gateway on the Beolink Active or BeoLink Passive, you must enter the following buttons on the Beo 4: /MENU/ /0/ /5/ /GO/ /STEP UP/ /GO/

I've found 2 different issues (B&O shortcomings) related to your question about multiple CDs. 1.) BeoSound 5 and BeoPlayer have trouble with properly organizing tracks from multiple CDs in a set. Once you own and use a BeoSound 5, you'll understand why an actual computer is essential. Music that is ripped from a CD requires quite a bit of tag editing. Even the online tagging services that we have make quite a lot of mistakes that must be cleaned up. Also, the current tagging services do not fit the need of providing high resolution cover

I'm choosing to look at BeoSound 5 as a product that is evolving, growing, and improving. What I'm particularly happy about is that B&O has incorporated an ethernet connection for software updates over the internet. Ah....if only we had this with Beosystem 1, Beosystem 3, Beovision 7, Beovision 8, etc, to be able to quickly and easily add

B&O is planning on having a video access similar to tivx installed on future B&O tvs. Until then, B&O is having dealers recommend that clients set up a wired network and use the tivx 6500 for video media. This could explain why B&O didn't focus on the Beomaster 5 for video media. Still, I don't see why it couldn't accomplish

I had been considering changing the color, too. I'm thinking how nice white would be on either side of an iMac. What is the price?

It would be great if someone with this modified Beo4 used a Lintronic device to decipher the codes that are sent. Then we could all easily do this with a Beo5.
