Weebyx: Hi, the problem should be solved in the SW released today or tommorow, i talked to B&O today, since i found a bug in SW 1.32a. The bug was that if you only changed the volume and then set the remote down, the display would not turn of until you pressed a button other than the volume slider. When you are in the Beomadia menu, press the Red button and then 9. You will see the configuration menu. Press 0,0,GO, and you will see the last function of this menu is Recovery. Use it to leave your Beomedia with factory settings.

It depends how long you want to wait. Anyway, I don't know if BlueRay will be an update of the Mk3 or a new BV7 (Mk4).

Digital sound is via HDMI too. You need a VGA-VGA cable for Beomedia.

Beomedia is connected via VGA for video and RCA for audio. You can get sound from Sky HD Box via HDMI too. Also, BV7 has spdif connections for digital audio.
