I've been a loyal user of BeoPort for years now, and somehow got used to listening to NMUSIC with gaps, as I had understood that it was inherent to the Windows Media Player operating principle. Now that I am shifting to Mac at home, I enjoy gapless music playback on Itunes, and was planning to recode all my WMA files to ALAC and use BeoPort with

Hi there, There should be no audio delay at all on Masterlink in link rooms, that's why I still use the Masterlink cable and not wireless transmitters! The only delay in the audio signal should be when you play a video source in the main room (say a DVD on your BeoVision), and then listen to the soundtrack in a link room : this is because of the

Looking at a device like the Ipad, I also think this is what BeoSound 5 should have been : a revamped Master Control Panel like in the 80's, only to control the BeoPort application wirelessly. There's not even need for a BeoMaster 5, let people choose - or keep- their own computers, and simply offer a full display and control on the Ipad, the

You can also get the cable straight from any B&O dealer, it is the phono to Powerlink cable sold for the new ICE powered BeoLabs such as BL3/9/4000 when using them with non B&O products. Works both ways, I use it with my B&W sub.

Have you seen the video clip about BV10's sound on the official B&O website? You would learn that the amplifiers are rated at 1 x 30 W (AB class) for the bass unit, and 4 X 10 W (ICE power) for the midrange-treble.. This is far from reaching the levels of the Avant/BV5 and is even less performant than a good old MX8000.. So yes, once again,

Hi Egon, Indeed you just need to buy a BeoLink converter (my type is 1611, maybe your type would be 1614), with a Masterlink input on one end for MX8000, and a datalink on the other hand for your BeoCenter (connected to the AV/AUX input). The Masterlink setup is straightforward, there's no menu for that on your MX, simply a configuration process

Oops, I missed the "paste" key: QUOTE As a consequence of the positive reception of BeoVision 10-40, a 46-inch version of BeoVision 10 will be launched within this fiscal year. The previously announced audio system is postponed on this basis. UNQUOTE

Taken from the interim report just released today on the official B&O website: So no Ipod dock for the moment..

True, but it won't be made in China..

Since you have a BV9 with ALT speakers, I would suggest getting another ALT speaker at the front, so BeoLab 3 would be the obvious choice. If you had had a TV with BeoLab 7-1/2/6, I would have suggested a pair of Lab 8000 indeed. I have a BV7-32 and use Lab 3 as front & rear speakers, I always use speaker 4 with music and the sound is breathtaking
