I have not seen anything yet which leads me to believe that you could not have both in the system at once. Depending on details of the BeoSound 1, and just where precisely the PowerLink outputs are, I should think they will play well together. Of more concern, at the moment, is wether you will want both. I agree with Alex, in this case I was answering the question while in no way endorsing the enterprise (I believe I was clear, if subtle ) I didn't think about going to a 7.2 system, or I would have suggested that. What I get for reading before the coffee kicks in!

wtlc2zpx: Dealer showed me the official pictures, and they are the same as the sheep photos. Retail for around £55. p. Dealers in the US were given the same photo...but the email indicated that the photo is of a prototype, not the final product. Perhaps everyone is right!

Hi Rolf, Issues of sound quality and imaging aside, you ought to be able to make these work just fine. The first thing though is to daisy-chain the 2 BL-6000's each from the speaker it is supposed to 'mirror', and make certain that it is set to the same channel (Left or Right) as it's 'twin'. Hi Calvin, A big indicator, I would think, is that in the last couple of generations of Turntables, B&O moved the phono pre-amp out into the Turntable itself (not unlike moving the power amp into the speaker, really), where I'm sure they thought it belonged.
