I have finally gotten Death Magnetic by Metallica. I got no problems with the sound quality exept I think the guitar sounds are a bit to sharp. For once the drums sounds good. The Beosystem 6500 with an extra Beocord 5500 and white Beovox S80.2 sounds pretty good.

I'm in the process of linking my primary MCL B&O units up and so far I have all the link modules in NOS condition exept the MCL2 Expander. I plan to go with LC2 and the cost for them is nearly the same as link modules but they come up alot more.

I have had my Sound Smith SMMC2 since 2007 I think. A few weeks ago it gave up. It needs to be retipped atleast and Axel has given his ok that he can do it for me. I have spend countless hours listning to my Beogram 8002 and it has always sounded very good. If I had the money for a new one at Sound Smith I would properly not think about it being to

I got the IR converter kit but I still need a powersupply (might have one that can be used) and a cable with a blue LED on it. If you look at the manual for the code converter you will notice that just to use the Beolink 1000/beo4 instead of the terminal you need to use tape 2 out to AUX in order to make it work. The remote signal goes from the blue

Sounds right but all Beogram 4000 has nearly the same age and finding a working one could take time. I would sugest get the one you mentioned here and ship it to Dillen for the service. Then you will have the best BG4000 you can get these days.

Cdx does take a RCA to DIN cord before tape 1 can be used but it could work. Option wise could be 1 or 2. The Bm 6000 does not care.

Well the Beomaster 6000 does have AUX on tape 2 however since the Beo4 and Beolink 1000 does not directly work with it you will have to switch to aux on your remote and switch on/control the Beomaster 6000 with Terminal 2035 if you got one or manually. I never tried this but I do have the option allthough the Beovision is a AV9000. If the Beomaster

With my Beosystem 6500 there was a Beo4 included. I got a Master Control 6500 from Ebay and I allready had a Beolink 1000mk3. The only thing thats a bit annoying is adjusting sound levels with the Beo4 link bass, treble and loudness. Its more simpel on the Beolink 1000. Beosystem 6500 is connected via 1611 converter to my AV9000 and both are in option

As nobody has replied yet here is the thing you will need to do. Get in contact with Dillen/Martin here. He is Danish, living near Copenhagen and can help you get it back in order.

Not good. I got my AV9000 about 4 weeks ago. It was cheap as it was not working so I took the chance. It displayed error 1 and that was it. I could insert and eject a vhs tape though. The monitor would not switch on. The red light stayed red. It had a defect tuner, some soldering jobs and powersupply. The set top controller was also in trouble. Now
