I agree with Peter here. Although BeoSound 1 is an excellent system, I would say it is not powerful enough to fill your size of room. An Ouverture + BeoLab 2500 combo or better would make a big difference in the warmth of the sound in my opinion. The Stereo will also be improved. What's your rough budget for this room, if I may ask?

Hi doomlordis, Glad to hear you bought back a BeoSound 2 and at a very good price too! I've been meaning to replace the battery on my BeoSound 2 as it's going through the battery at about the same rate as yours. I'll ask my dealer how much this will cost on the weekend, but from what I remember hearing it isn't unreasonable. Happy listening
