tom: I've been to the B&O homepage at least 10 times today, but the winner of the grand prize has not been announced yet... Has any Beoworlder won something so far? no, I guess B&O hates me

It reminds me of a ugly ghetto blaster . I gues you see something of the BS 3 in it, but I think it doensn't come even close...

I've got a little acoustic problem too. In the sweetspot of my bedroom sounds everything suburb, but if you move 2 meter to the left or right, the sound will become a bit boomy (especially the really low frequencies <70hz) . I hope that I will fix the problem with a acoustic absorption wall like this http://kit.hichina.com/sitemanager/user/webhost

I think it would help if you post some pics of your rooms. Btw, what's your budget ? If you buy a pair of 3's with a bs 4 new, you can also buy a bs9000 with a pair of 8000's secondlife for 500,- Euro's less...

If the av5 has already RCA outs, you only need the minijack to RCA cable I quess...

Wauw, gave foto's zeg . Wat een verschil ook met de zwarte versie die ik persoonlijk niet zo mooi vind. Zit er nou trouwens toch een glasfilter voor het scherm gezien de glinstering op de tweede foto ?

Dave: how much better can BL5's really sound, please some one rationalise this topic! 6 thousand pounds for a source to the speakers that already fool many into thinking it's the real performance... The price for the dvd/cd player is in euro's (in pounds it's about 4500 pounds)... The overal sound will change a bit. Just a bit more detailed

Alex: What's special about that? Sure it would sound good but it wouldn't be 'special'. There are lots and lots of very special sounding CD players & decks out there, even one or two hard drive based systems. None of them seem to do anything particularly differently though, other than just sounding very good... The Classé
