I quite like the grey of my Bm3500, I think its better than the mirror effect of the Bm4500 which damages so easily. Also I would think that a Bm3500 with the original panel intact would be worth more than an altered one? I think it would be very difficult to get a good finish by stripping the paint off. Sounds rather risky.

I noticed the other night that when my Bm6500 is on standby that there is a buzzing noise, almost like a motor turning. Thought it was the CD player underneath it but its definitely the Beomaster. Sounds louder if I put my ear near the front...softer at the back. Any ideas oh clever ones? Ben

I am from South Africa even though my parents are from France. I was born in South Africa. To my knowledge there haven't been any African winners but its a matter of chance anyway and like Lee says I don't think there are many members from African countries...I could be wrong. P.s. I think South Africa has 4 or 5 B&O shops (or agents)
