Common problem, try to help it to close manually while pressing the load button, you should be able to hear the little electric motor pulling the string trying to close it. Open and close it until it works as it should. Perhaps the strings needs replacing, not that difficult ( i have heard). br Christian

As far as i know the aux should work just like on your mx5000, but be placed differently on the back (the mx6000 and mx5000 is not the exact same chassi, am i right??) br CHristian

Yes, the work is extremely hard, especially the 4 cource menu and the vintage port from 1945... The Beocenter 6 looks very normal to me, the beo 4 (newest edition) is also completely standard. And after i finetuned the frequencies for radio and tv, it looks and sounds just fine. I'll try to take some pictures of the beolab 4s, they look just right
