Is actually a a good deal, the old files have 128 kbs, the new ones 256 making them a decent choice for the BS5. The quality should be significant better ..... Cheers JK

If you log into Itunes, you should be able to upgrade your music to Itunes plus which is the format that was introduced some month back, that one does not carry DRM. Any old tracks you should be able to upgrade to non DRM for a small fee which will also improve the quality significant. There is a button somewhere in the Itunes store, I think when you

Your 1st post, welcome on board. If you search, there have been plenty of postings including specs and very close drawings and photoshops of it. We have it all coming out of our ears I guess ...... Cheers JK

>>add some sockets without any development cost << Software would change I would think, so you have testing etc. There is never enough connections ..... I think it's very wise that they use exactly the same platform ..... BV8 40 is a solid TV and having an alternate design is great and in the end many of us I would think are just after

>>must be by hardware upgrade<< That is correct. It has the software on a chip, which has to be exchanged. He may not know about this, if he doesn't contact B&O customer service. Cheers JK

>>It's also safe to say that the upcoming features will make the BeoSound 5 fairly dominant in the high end digital media market.<< Lets wait until its there. The published plan to update the software seemed weak to me. I am looking for something for digital music but want a 2 way and gapless music with MAC supported formats solved.

Yes, should be able to get around this by renaming the disk or renumbering the the tracks. I am more worried about gapless not beeing available for any other format them Wav which I cant do on my mac.
