  • Re: Who are B&O's main suppliers?

Samsung and apparently Sharp have provided LCD screens, Panasonic provide the plasma screens. Pioneer supply DVD drives and there are a variety of speaker driver manufacturers involved. Quite a bit of the automotive electronics come from Germany - I can't remember the make - and in common with a lot of makes, a fair amount of electronics generally

  • Re: Beolab 2 - Speaker Connection

I understand the confusion - the Beolab 2 manual is made to cover all eventualities. In your case, simply use the sub-woofer socket on the TV. Just to muddy the waters slightly, some people prefer the sound with the speakers attached to the audio unit rather than the TV. This ios particularly true of earlier surround sound sets! The numbers are quite confusing - I'll have a go at simplifying things: There are two main types - the FM only and the multi-band. The FM only are the 400, 500 and 505. The 400 differs from the other two in that it requires an external transformer - the BeoPower 600 - to run off the mains. The 400 and 500 were available at the same time, though

I didn't understand what you meant by spider's web layout (apart from the cobwebs!) but that last picture makes it so obvious! Once again a superb pictorial adventure! I eagerly await the next set!
