I say let's give it 10 more years, and then we look back on the Mac VS PC question again... I might be wrong, but my guess is that the average consumer might have turned Mac by then... Most people want a Mac, but can't justify the "double price". Apple should put a 500 euro machine on the market
Electrified: I use a Thinkpad T60 every day for 10 hours a day at work. I'd hardly call them "sturdy, lightweight, powerful, and dependable."
I use an X200s, which is both sturdy, lightweight, reasonably powerful, and first and foremost dependable. My video editing computer is a T400 with dual
And it will look really pretty as it crashes and requires you to remove the battery, unplug it, and restart Windows.
Alot of things has happened since Windows Me and the first two months after the introduction of Vista (lack of drivers). After twenty years of being a Mac user I recently moved to Thinkpads.

Looks like a very nice computer!
So it runs OS X?
No. The trackpads aren't tennis elbow-inducing enough, the screen aren't glossy enough, and there's way too many useable ports on that thing for it to run OSX
All in favour of saving energy but the addition of a switch on the power cord is not what I would expect! I would suggest that some form of battery back up allied to a motion sensor would have been the high tech solution, allowing the system to be switched back on to mains power remotely and also not disrupting the PIN
I think computers and the pace of them getting faster/better has contributed to the trend across the board we are seeing now. Full HD TV... how long? Until the ones who theoretically can afford one has one, then it's "21:9" or "extreme HD" or "3D TV" or the next option. As long as

Ignoring the obvious conspiray theories and denials in this thread, I don't see what the problem is - besides the PIN-code reentering. It seems B&O are phasing out the pin code system with their new platform all together, and having the ability to shut it down hard doesn't mean it should be used. I guess you guys also prefer if your laptops
Well I went to the apple store, turns out it was a faulty usb cable.
Whatever the problem, always check the physical connections first

Overall I like the design. A few things I find to be so troublesome I'd never buy it: It's 18 inches. Eighteen!! Add to that the speakers, and you have a monstrosity never to be carried anywhere. Given the size and propable use, I can't help but wonder why on earth it's got a 1.7GHz processor - albeit an i7. Another thing: I moved from
This would be a software update for the ages!
Hehe, true. Except for the minijack and the size reduction, the rest is merely software.
