Hello Vifa, I cannot specifically answer your question - but for the record my Center9500 has HX-PRO written on the tape cover panel. Regards

Hi, I have a mix of 6500 & 7000 units with a MCP 6500 and I have Beolab Penta II's connected. You have loads of choice in terms of speakers - new or older - but Penta's are fantastic I find - they have the imposing looks, superb sound & are very powerful. Michael

Thanks for that information & opinion Peter. I also have the Beocenter 9500 that has always been used together with this deck. This is is absolutely MINT condition and is FULLY working. Are they worth more 'together' or split up separately..? Thanks

Hi all, I have, in my possession a Beogram 9500 Record Deck in a mint state of condition. It has the MMC2 stylus, together with the mains power cable & the connecting powerlink cable. I have powered the unit up and all seems to work perfectly - however I simply do not have a single vinyl record to play. So I have not actually fully tested it/heard

Cheers fellas, I'll try the baby wipe thing & will definately be contacting Steve too about the cables. If either pair of speakers has the usual foam rot problem - can anyone recommend any place near me (north manchester) for me to take them - or, if i were to have a go myself, where is the best place to buy the necessary rubber seals &

Well ok! thanks for that - i'll read that a few more times & i might start undertanding it - possibly! Should I just buy the Beo converter unit & necessary cables from Lifestyle AV? I dont seem to find any on ebay etc. Thanks
