This is not good news, I'm in shock. Let's hope Beoworld can cement a good relationship with his replacement. Andy T.

Glad you got into the config eventually mate Andy T.
-
Once you have set your values, press "go" on the Beo4 not exit. Incidentally, you can add "Store" to your Beo4 but only after adding "V-SETUP" Andy T.

Hi Bambam and welcome to the forum. Aren't you lucky that the seller had the foresight to package everyting properly. There are so many stories on here about Beograms damaged in transit. Not very well up on Beograms (yet) but I am sure Peter or someone will be along shortly to help you. In the meantime, Have you seen THIS on the products page? Andy

Ha. As we speak, someone has put THIS on eBay illegally!

Well a grand total of almost 1000 canadian dollars is about 511 pounds, so it isn't much more than what I paid but don't forget the base charger was included. Some dealers are charging seperately for the charger. Andy T.
-
It's not a voltage issue, it's to do with the shape of the charging pins. The old handset will charge in a new charger, but a new handset will not charge in an old charger. Andy T.

Sorry, don't speak French. 290 dollars for configuration is ridiculous!! The first config should be free. Ask at other dealers. Andy T.

Ha! I have a lot of good memories of my Mk3 GXL. Like the time it passed it's MOT with three brakes working, and a pair of Molegrips dangling off the brake pipe on the fourth! Or when the steering rack refused to let me turn right, I had to go past the junction then back round to the left until my car was lined up for the new road then drive ahead

Take it you mean Beolab 8000s. I have a very little experience with a Beolab 2, but having heard Ed's I would highly reccomend it. Ask a local dealer if you can hear one in your own home. You will be gobsmacked! Andy T.
