  • Re: Beosound 5 specs

The Beosound 5 is simply the controller for the Beomaster 5. It allows browsing without a TV set of digital music and also helps select Internet Radio channels. Whether you want this is something only the consumer can decide. The addition of the MOTS system provides a sophisticated algorithm based piece of software that helps maximise your music collection

  • Re: b&o 5000 turns off after 5-10 seconds

Agree - will need some new capacitors and variable resistors in all probability. "All" you need to do is find someone to do it for you!

  • Re: Beolink 7000

tournedos: During a temporary lapse of reason, I bought me a Beolink 7000, and picked it up from the post office today. This has to be one of the silliest gadgets I've ever seen. I love it! Have you the system to go with it? I think this is the best remote for a link room that has been made, till the iPod Touch!

  • Re: B&O Of Brighton Has Closed!

Still there along with musicians! Has changed ownership - Mr Windows has retired and only Brian remains from the old days. However they now major on keyboards downstairs and other classical instruments and music upstairs. They still keep the rock instruments in the basement! The old B&O wall lights are still there I think!

  • Re: Beolab 4 PC

You must listen! I would strongly suggest a pair of Beolab 4000s would fit the bill and would get a second hand pair which seem to review better than the new ICE ones. Also save you some money so you can get more music!!

  • Re: Beocenter 9500 problem: automatically switches on ....

If you had been in the UK, I would have suggested somewhere cheaper and you could have had a trial of a two way remote. I bought a 9500 purely so I could have a Beolink 7000!!

  • Re: Beosound 5 specs

The DAC in the BS9000 is the TDA1305 which is the same as is used in the Naim CD5. Not sure about the BC2 as I cannot find a circuit diagram!!
