I would get the BV5 Mk4 (HD) as this is a B&O design classic with HD ability. It gives a good picture and is beautiful both on and off. If I was looking to replace my Avant now, that is what I would get - the only set that B&O make that might tempt me otherwise would be the BV9 but I prefer the BV5.

Your options are set wrong - both should be Option 1 and they are most likely set to 2. Both IR eyes are getting the signal and that is why you jump two channels. What are the speakers attached to? Well worth doing - S120s are one of the best passive speakers made by B&O. Either do it yourself or get a company to do it. I canno recommend one - Recone in the UK has stopped doing it - but an internet search revealed this in the US.

It doesn't even have a DVD button!! It must be well over 3 years old! SAT works DTV and V.Tape works V.MEM . SHIFT, SAT works the DVD.
