Cool, thanks. I think I'll order the part from the local guy and change it out.

Hiyaz, So when I'm playing the A.Mem on my BS4, my BL3500 says A.Tape. It's running SW 1.1. If I upgrade this to 2.1, will it say A.Mem? Or is it because of my old (Mk 2) Beo4 that also says A.Tape? Sure it's an aesthetics thing but so is B&O in general.

Hiyaz, Anyone know if the DVD2 can be region hacked? Half of my DVDs are region 1 and the rest are region 2. It's a side effect of moving to Europe, I guess. The DVD2 is just a nice looking, rebranded Philips. Maybe the region hack is the same? That would be nice since Philips DVD players are ridiculously easy to set to region-free.

So I've got an A9 keyring that I got a few years ago for my BS Century. All it did was turn on the radio and turn it off again (I don't have a TV or lights). I was kind of surprised since I figured he'd jump at any chance to make money off my rookie butt but I guess not everyone is as capitalistic and

Alrighty. I tried the option 4 thing and now the BL3500 works independently. Sort of. It only seems to activate the sources. I can't change the volume nor shut off the BL3500 speaker with the remote. Is this normal? Also, I'm using a Beolink 1000 in that room since the link option instructions here (http://www.bang-olufsen.com/graphics/bogo

Okay, I'll try this today or tomorrow. Does the BL2000 react the same way? Or does the A.Aux actually activate on that?

"Looks" barely count for the BeoSystem3... it's a black and silver box you hang on your wall with a jillion cables coming out of it. The question is, what would happen if I hooked up BL6000s to both my BS4 and the Onkyo (or anything else with RCA pre-amp outs) in order to switch from the stereo to the surround sound? Then I could get some
