I'm a bit disappointed with that "triangle shifting" update, I expected B&O to do exactly the opposite of what they've done, that is: give us a full screen and all-time BeoPort interface rather than hiding it completely! What's the point in designing such a beautiful interface if it is always hidden? I have a PC that's

This is very good news indeed, because if the control bar & info bar can stay on all the time, it will become very easy to use BeoPort as a BeoMedia interface on any BeoVision, since the previous version was shifting the control + info bars every time you changed the source..I'll update the new version tonight & see how it works..touch wood

Hi, All B&O products have spares available for 12 years after end of production, that's applicable in all countries. 12 years is a lot, compared to most other brands, by the way..

If it works for Beo4, it will work with all other B&O remotes, including the keyring.

Good news: it should be better than Beo5 (it is called Beo6, not Beo3) Bad news: it should be more expensive than Beo5 I do hope it will be a Bluetooth remote control, that's the only way to get fast & easy 2-way communication nowadays, but since there are no Bluetooth enabled audio-video masters in the present range, I'm ..dubious.. I would

Below is the reply I just received from B&O customer service...leaves me speechless.. again.. : Objet Cannot play gapless music Thread de discussion Réponse (Helle Pramanik) 15/02/2010 09:39 AM Dear Mr. Georget, It is correct that BeoPort is unable to handle gapless music. We have to say that we do not at present have any plans for changing

I had the same concern when I looked at the pictures: most B&O owners must have a full-time housemaid for this subwoofer, it is a perfect dust-trap! I imagine the spiders, geckos and cockroaches having a lot of fun with this one at home, I already have trouble cleaning the Lab 3 lenses.. Besides, how is it going to be wall-mounted? Vertically with

I sent a request to B&O customer service about gapless playback issues on BeoPort 2 when I wrote this post: no reply yet...

I guess your clever concept should have been the true...Beo 5? , namely a 2-way remote control panel like in the old days..maybe with the addition of a headphone output for true portability around the house?

The irony is, I remember that my BeoSound 2 played all files without any gaps, on very low level tracks, you could hear 3 almost inaudible pops before track change, which means the software in BS2 could make the music gapless. And guess what? My Serenata can't play gapless Is this what is supposed to be progress?
