wonderfulelectric: I guess you got yourself in a sticky situation huh. Maybe try going on ebay and bid for a beosystem 3 and take it from there and try bidding more matching loudspeakers later. You do need the latest surround processor to take advantage of DVD-A. When Michael mentioned DVD audio, I'm pretty certain that he meant 5.1 for his movie

You have 2 paths to travel here. If you'd like to stay on the B&O path, then you can look around for a used BeoSystem 1, or perhaps a BeoSystem 3. Both are available, and if you comb the North American shops, you ought to be able to find one with at least some warranty available. BeoSystem 1's are getting rarer by the moment, but they're

As long as you have an old fully wired Powerlink, or the modern Mark II, you will have no trouble. Everything will work properly.

Soundproof: That would have been my senioryear. Tim: The nullriver software streams to the 360 WonderfulElectric: No video through the BeoSound 5. The BeoMaster5 however is different matter, its capabilities remain to be fully explained or explored. I do have to agree with alex here, again.: it constantly amazes me that any of us would happily trust

Get in touch wwith your nearest B&O shop. Still readily available as its the same as the one in the BeoCom 1. Currently about $27USD plus S&H. The batteries are a Sanyo piece (I believe), but there's a thermocouple in there that allows the phone to monitor charging.

Major College program, major conference, big aspirations...constant disappointment. Back on topic: Ray, you can transfer a DRM file

Well, since we're back to ripping our hair out about all of the things the BM-5/BS-5 doesn't do; let me make 2 points. 1) We are talking about a modular system here. BeoSound 5 is an audio-specific front-end for the BeoMaster 5. But we already know that you'll also be able to use BeoVisions as front ends as well. We've also all heard

Sorry Lars, I got crossed up. Since you already have a 7-2, if you have the wall bracket for it, then you will be able to remove the 7-4 from the BV-7 wall bracket, and replace it with the 7-2 wall bracket.

Hi Royce, Welcome to BeoWorld! The BeoMaster 8000 is a terrific piece, I have one as well, and love it when it's out. The RL's and 301's should both work just fine. You will need the 2-pin male DIN speaker adaptors though. As for which master is a better fit, that will depend on your taste. I will tell you that a properly working BeoMaster

Assuming that you already have the wall bracket for the 7.4, the answer is 'Yes!' You'll need a few minutes with a hex-key, but you should be OK. Barring that, your local B&O shop would be able to order the appropriate bracket for you.
