Hi John Thanks for your kind words. The Pulsars are indeed wonderful pieces, and I wanted one for years. The Accutron has a nice "hum" which I somehow never get tired of listening to every now and then I hope you get your Smiths mantel clock fixed, as it is great to keep these interesting pieces working and on show. Well I had a spare £200, and fancied a project, so I bought an 8GB iPod Touch ready to transform it into an all singing and dancing remote. It looks fab with B&O gear...roll on the software and SDKs I hope someone much cleverer than me works on an implementation for 2 way control, using IR for the older stuff, and via software on the computer

Hi all. I've just got a Beocenter 7000. Everything appears to work as perfectly, except the balance control works the opposite way round to how I'd expect - ie: moving the control all the way to the left means sound only comes out of the right speaker and vice versa. However apart from this the balance control works as it should, just "reversed"

Hello all. I've just got a Beocenter 7000 in really good condition, except that the right-side (as viewed from the front) hinge for the aluminium cassette/radio cover is broken, and the piece that pushes against the spring to open this cover is missing. Has anyone out there got spares of these kicking about? I'd be very grateful indeed!
