Stan, what software version is showing on your Beosound 5?

I do not have this info on my Beosound. I have software update set to automatic and have tried manually checking for software update. Unless I am not looking in the right place for it.

I purchased the Samsung BD-D7500. Very pretty, matches B and O very well. Unfortunately, it does not work and will be returned. I connected it by HDMI and set it to output PCM to my BV7-55. If I put a disc in with uncompressed 7.1 PCM, all worked beautifully. However, if I put a DolbyTrueHD or DTSHD disc in, the player decoded the track and then downconverted

The white is also on the sides of the 7-4 with the front being silver/aluminum color.

There is a white BV7 with a BL7-4 and white Beolab 9s on the Bang and Olufsen page for the BV7.

Doesn't the Beosound 5 allow music to be distributed to link rooms whereas the Encore does not, unless there is a second Encore used? And I seem to recall reading that the 2 way wifi cover art on the Beo 6 will only work with the Beosound 5, not the Encore? Perhaps because there is no need for the Beo 6 with an Encore as there must be an Encore
