What a monster telly I would guess this is more of "brand building product", rather than a product that B&O expect to sell many of. 500 kilos..... Really Awesome..

I think you should take it back to have the dealer to fix it. I assume you have the combined charging and base station. I recall I had similar problems with my first Beocom 2. If you have the separate base station, you press a small button on the base to put it into registartion mode. Then you go into the menu on the Beocom 2 and ask it to register

As some has commented: You really need broad band to get a nice experience. Tried at home on my iMac this morning and a 6 MB/s connection. Slow and boring. (Not the quickest of iMacs either) At work this afternoon at a 100 MB/s connection. Very nice experience. Have another 90% to experience /C

Does anyone have experience if its worth the money to convert a RBG Scart signal to Component signal? My new Beovision 8 will be delivered next week and my cable box have only RGB Scart out. /C
