I'm confused! The speaker on the left has it's stripes on the side... Anyway, it looks beautiful!

  • Re: BeoLab 9 - where is the midrange, too much tweeter!

    Yes Jon, my thoughts exactly.
Sorry to read about the problem. I too was not impressed with the BL9's at normal listening volumes, when cranked up they seemed to improve but that was it. I found them somewhat tiring to listen to, as Peter mentioned... Here is the old thread on the BL1 modifications, perhaps it contains

  • Re: BeoVision 10 bad panels

It's all quite interesting, maybe B&O can't do anything about this, as they have to get their components from somewhere, and if the quality control at those companies is poor, what can they do? Whatever happened to getting their components supplied by panasonic? In my opinion, samsung isn't that great
It wouldn't be beyond the reason of man to add an EQ with low noise levels between the source and speakers.
I have zero interest in doing that...

  • Re: What is stopping you buying B&O?...

If B&O don't do something about making their products more affordable, then they are going to be in trouble, with us beoworlders anyway~ the consensis here is clear. Big changes are coming in the future for this company. Lets hope they don't go out of business.

Definitely!! there's a relatively new one at Iconic i think! BV3's are aweosm, and kinda look like flat screens :)

  • Re: What is stopping you buying B&O?...

I'm pretty decided that i will not be buying anymore B&O brand new (BeoTime is the exception). It's too expensive now, and dammit, it's too often that there is a problem, or the product has a fault, ridiculous! On the CRT vs flatscreen front, i will be keeping the CRT technology in my home for as long as humanly possible. BeoVision 10

  • Re: What Makes BeoLab 4000 Superior to BeoLab 2500

The BL4000 MKI, in my opinion are the greatest active speaker B&O have ever done in terms of sound quality, tone, value and beautiful design... Only surpassed by BL5 I feel like a broken record touting the BL4000's, but everyone should have a pair!
