Hello. I got a partly working Beomaster 1200 for a repair. Unfortunately my skills are running out and now I am asking if some more skilled member of this forum could help me. When I got the BM1200 it had following problems. The sliders were very sticky, the whole thing was very dusty and there was sound on only one channel. Now, I can manage with the

Dillen: The CD player will be using the same input (Tape) which makes it a matter of plugging in and out everytime you switch between tape and CD. Or you could get a DIN switch, that would make life easier. Or if you are lucky to get one: http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=762

Nicely spotted, Ralf! Unfortunately I don't have the XII disc, I have the XI and XIII.

I do fix vintageB&O -stuff, too, but I have not much experience in CD-players so I can't help! Also I am so busy at the moment.... I would recommend you to search for someone handy with electronics as the official B&O service, Electrosonic Lightinen Oy, is very expensive, around 60 EUR / hour! I have one, bought from eBay. Unopened without warranty, approx. 500 EUR. (The B&O shop price here: 1190 EUR). Has worked perfectly and I use it quite a lot. Switch from Nokia phones to Serene caused that I rarely send text messages anymore as it's quite slow with Serene. Camera is usefull but so low resolution that the pictures are hardly for

"Estimated arrival date: 19/01/09 - 07/02/09" Hmm. I didn't really expect it to arrive before christmas... At least the book seems to be popular - it has to be good! :)

When you press AUX on BC9000 there are some options available for a moment, then they disappear. F.e if you press AUX and then 8 the BC acts as a microphone amp! I think there are options 1,2,3,4,5 and 8 available. The manual only gives the explonation of mode 8, does anyone have any experience of the other modes? Could some of them even include control

How will BC9000 rate in point of view of capacitor quality? Seeing the pictures of BC9300 it looks surprisingly different to my 9000 - a lot more separate boards and wiring. Is there any experience if the BC9000 has some caps that 'should' be replaced by now to enhance something in audible / performance range? I am about to take mine apart to
