I was at a dealer today who told me that the beovision 7 32" will also get a similar update as the 40"! He also mentioned that this would mean that the beovision 7 32" becomes full HD. Would surprise me if that is true; but would be a nice surprice! Anybody that knows more about that? Regards, Bieele

My last post in this subject: Just talked with my dealer; it was no problem to cancel the order for the avant (Nice idea to have a good and trustworthy dealer). But his thought were similar to the Stig's: This is only temporary. Hopefully long enough to considere the beovision 7 update as an option (Please B&O update the 32" as well !!

Thanks for all thoughts and ideas. This led to a weekend filled with B&O thinking; saternight I decided to upgrade my membership, download the on-site service manual for the Avant and spend this evening on some troubleshooting. But if I look at the tv range I am far less excited; this part of the market seems to be going to fast for

He offered a tube replacement for a special price (660 euro); but I am not sure what to do. He also mentioned that I have to take care when I start to hear plopping noises since this might cause more damage. Not sure what to do;

Hello, Wha should I expect to pay in repair costs? In one of the previous responses it was mentioned that I could buy some time by reducing the G2 power. Is this something I can do myself? Would it help to adjust the settings under setup - picture adjustment (parameters like Bdr or Bcu)? I know the general advise is do not mess with the setup, but I

bang1: since it's only the blue, I think it's properly the tube. it's maybe possible adjust the G2 power to bay some time. But it's only going to gets wears from here on ,and at last powering down whit a bang, form the speaker in protection mode. Because the tube use to much power. You do Not have to buy a BV7... There are also BV9 Thanks
