The Beoport doesnt do much without an audio master I believe. What Beolabs do you have? Just connect them straight to the airport, you can control the volume of the Airport express from within Itunes .... It may be a bit sensitive to adjust depending on the power of the speakers ... If they have no line in connection, I would just built an adapter cable

Hi, I am using a step up transformer on my BL2500 since 8 or 9 years. Since the BL8000 draw much more power I would probably get this done by the dealer. If I recall correct it is actually quiet complicated to take the BL8000 apart, if they are old or your here just for a limited time a powerful step upmight be cheaper. If you do go the transformer

Its not really a surround since you don't have a center is it? Otherwise, the B&O world carries the surround module within the TV which makes sense as their speakers are amplified. So if you are after surround that is what you have to replace, you could buy an surround amplifier with "regulated" line outs and feed that into the active

>>How much buyers remorse when the owners finally realize how limited and out-dated their "cool looking stuff" really is<< For some, the limitations don't matter. I still play my CDs and watch DVDs. I am less bothered by what others may perceive as shitty picture quality then by cheap plastics and multiple remotes or cables

I have done that with mine, is fairly easy to do, took less then an hour. Biggest problem was to find a matching screwdriver, the screws are sort of funny so my standard set did not work and it took me 3 trips to my hardware store. The problem is, the BL2500 are off the market and the frets are very hard to come by, your dealer can get the item numbers
