Yes. You only need to undo the left screw for the large aluminum lid because it holds a small metal bracket that locks the connector bay tray. Martin

Well done ! If you lift up and take off the left side control panel and take out the metal bottom tray in the connector bay, you will have enough access to the left amp board to flip it sideways up to vertical and do most repairs. Martin

I was just informed that Helvar-Celeston, the finnish company, had a quite intensive cooperation with Bang & Olufsen from 1962-68. Several of B&O's models were produced in Finland under the Helvar-Celeston brand. The Stereomaster (Beomaster 900K) of this thread being one of them. Basically, the Helvar-Celeston models were more or less identical

The circuit resets itself. If you have a multimeter, you can measure the voltage going to the motor. Expect apprx. 12-14V Martin

The flat Siemens type relays come up for sale occasionally but I wouldn't rush to buy them. They will be of the same vintage and they will have oxidized contacts

Yes, that's correct. From serial number 2832001 there is a fuse. You can feel if the motor will rotate by hand. If it's stuck, it will have to be replaced which could end up a problem. Martin

It is actually the "grey" facia version as in the early version. It's just that instead of the speakers two small plastic "fillers" with white stripes are fitted at the sides of the dial. This is normal. The solder joints are normal on the boards themselves but the solders of the interconnecting leads look a bit "quick"

If my memory serves me right, the fuse sits at the bottom board right next to the transformer housing, not far from where the large multiconnector from the mechanical section connects to the board. You have a PM (check your inbox). Martin
