9 LEE: Nope - We will have those on the main site. It will be for archived brochures and obscure things that may be of interest! Lee Surely all obscure things are of interest - or is it just me??

Medogsfat: There was a blind comparison test done at B&O in Newcastle which covered all the speakers you mention and the results published on the old beoworld site - which unfortunately isn't accessable at present. Peter was very much involved with this and he may be able to point you in the direction of these results as I'm sure they were

henrik: joeyboygolf: To all those people who have their heads stuck in the sand or up their ar** or wherever they have them stuck, the answer is simple. Get a PC like the rest of us! Mine works fine, even under the stairs, from where I am now communicating with all my friends with macs Stupidest post of the year? ;-) I use macs at home, windows at work

My wife, over a period of 20 odd years, has come to hate them with a passion. She has now given the nod for me to replace them (hence other posts asking opinions on BL800 vs BL3 and

As I have just moved and my RL6000 are not installed on the walls yet, I thought I might as well put some new capacitors and check the drives

Killyp: Yes, there's a mass of screws to undo! It's a little time consuming, but worth it. Either as said above, or they may be suffering from Foam Rot, which is where the foam surround which holds the cone of the woofer in line so it performs like a piston rots away, causing the cone to rattle from side to side when it should be moving perfectly

Kevin: Hi Adam, congratulations! Sounds like the baffles are loose in the RL's Martin has a fix I believe. From what I remember remove the straps and then there are loads of screws to undo. From what I remember, just remove every screw you can see on the rear of the cabinet (these also loosen the straps so they cab be removed). Some of the holes

I am now happy that the BM5000 will provide a suitable signal to drive active speakers via the line in connection (BL8000 or BL3) after having found this diagram in the Service Manual (Oh the joys of being a Gold Member) However the question regarding introducing hum over a 5 mtr cable length remains. Has anyone any knowledge/experience driving these
