It sounds like a focus problem. It can move the lens but finds no focus point. Did you check the laser current ? Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! Are you sure that the ones, you are looking at, are not just terminated cables soldered in ? Martin

Nice car collection ! The Beocord may suffer from an unstable power supply. Check for cracked solders at the rear where the cables from the voltage regulators come in from the cooling fin and anywhere else on the regulator and rectifier boards. Check also for oxidation at the transformer edge connector. Finally.. capacitors or the motor itself (unique

There are two Beomaster 1700's. One is a tuner only, meant for use with the Beolab 1700 amplifier, both in the front operated stacking design. The other is a complete receiver with tuner and amplifier, operated on the sloping top with the two caterpillar bands. The latter is in my opinion one of the most beautiful and extraordinary designs from

Alex, Where else did you see this tweeter used ? Martin

The dome-tweeter is unique for the Beovox 5700 if I remember correctly. Note that two different versions of the Beovox 5700 exists (types 6229 & 6253), different midrange drivers are used and what seems to be a nice mix of Norelco and Philips woofers but the tweeter is the same. Martin

Does the noise increase with the volume control ? Is the noise present on all FM presets ? PM me if this is the Beomaster, you bought from me. Martin

Welcome to Beoworld ! Beovox 3000 is a wonderful speaker. It has a voluminous and powerful sound, very pleasant. Best results achieved if used with one of B&O's DC coupled amplifiers. I have some used (tested good) SEAS 87H tweeters in stock if you need. This is the original tweeter for the Type 6220. The woofer has rubber surround so no rot

Welcome to Beoworld ! 1. The mute switch is showing signs of lack of usage. Use the Beogram and it will probably fix itself unless something is physically broken or put together wrong. 2. Adjust the deck height. The service manual will tell you how. 3. Probably also something that will correct itself with normal use. If not, you will have to check if

I agree that it could be the belt. There are actually two belts in your Beogram but we are referring to the large one that drives the platter. New belts are in stock. It could also be the speed setting trimmers. These are electronic parts inside the Beogram. Some trimmer types fall apart physically, others oxidate heavily. They are fairly cheap components
