Sadly Richard, there is very little you can do yourself unless you have the software. Dealers are often reluctant to give the software to customers. It's against B&O's policy. You could find logos and take them to your dealer to add. Keith Saunders has compiled masses of logos and other buttons for use.

Hi Ruivar. It is quite likely that the batteries you have could be goosed. New ones cost less than £10 in UK. They crop up regularly on eBay, but don't buy a second hand one, it could be as bad as your own ones. Andy T.
