I always thought that the three head one never worked properly - even when new! That is why they changed the 4715 to two head. That one only chewed the tapes as opposed to the 4705 in which the heads would go out of alignment and then it would chew the tape! I would attach the Sonos directly via digital to the BL5s. No point repeatedly switching between analogue and digital so an external DAC would seem superfluous. Nice avatar by the way. More radical looks. I would have a flat table like structure with the bottom third aluminium and the top two thirds a screen which would be black whilst off. When activated, there would be a projected key pad on the aluminium which would be touch sensitive and thus keep finger marks off the screen. The projection would change with different functions
