I'm really surprised that the Samsung doesn't work with the BS1. I thought that all Samsung players used the same IR codes. I have a Samsung BD1400 (or maybe it's BD1600) working with and controlled perfectly by my Avant. The Samsung 1400 is listed on the BS1 PUC. Is it possible you just need a software update? Also, if it's a matter

I feel that the BeoSound 5 is the best purchase I've ever made from B&O. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I never use CDs or my BeoCenter 2 anymore. It's more than just MOTS. The BeoSound 5 interface makes it very quick and easy to access my music. I use a Mac.

This is certainly an unexpected benefit. Not to mention how AMAZING SACD music sounds!

After upgrading from BeoSystem 1 to BeoSystem 3, it seems that even audio sources from the BeoSound 5 sound better (crisper and richer) on my Beolab 8000s with Beolab 2. Is this just my imagination? the BeoSystem 3 doesn't do anything to improve the sound of n.music, n.radio, radio, or cd. Does it? I had also added a power conditioner at the same

I can report back that the BeoMaster 5 can connect to the BeoSystem 3 via HDMI (with a DVI adapter on the BeoMaster 5). When using an HDMI connection, you can use ANY AV source and are not limited to AV5. This is useful to be able to close the top door on the BeoSystem 3, which is blocked when connecting cables to AV5 or AV6.

I, too, have no desire to play games on the PS3. However, the PS3 is a great blu-ray player as far as functionality and ease and frequency of support updates. It also serves as a media server access point to play divx files. I find that the touch-sensitive power button reminds me very much of the Beosystem 4500 and has that tactile B&O sense of

Indeed. That PR company should be fired. My opinion is that any early photos leaked on this site would have been doing a service to B&O by drawing attention away from that shoddy unveiling.

I'm wondering now how B&O will be able to justify maintaining such a high price for the BeoVision 4 for which one would have to spend an additional $4,000 USD for a center channel speaker.

I had not heard that the BeoLab 6000 frets would be available in blue as shown in one of the photos. This is an interesting development.

Can HDMI via AV1 through AV4 be used instead of AV5 or AV6? For a Beosystem 3 there is the issue of problems closing the BS3 door when connecting cables (other than HDMI) to AV5 or AV6. Or is it the case that sound will be passing through masterlink and not the BS3 or BV9? If that's the case, then only the HDMI cable would be needed and not the
