  • Re: Avant link problem

It does sound like you have a faulty masterlink cable, i.e. a loose wire in the junction box perhaps? Roger

  • Re: Masterlink (Beovision 1 / Beosound overture)

  • Re: Experience of BV 4-65

You get D10 on both sets and the very same BeoSystem 3. The BeoVision 9 will give you the option to hide stuff inside the television (like HDR-2, BeoMedia 1 or BeoMaster 5 etc) and to attach your set-top-box to the back of it (and you can easily hide the connection box for the BeoCenter 2 on the stand behind the BV9). But above all the BV9 will turn

  • Re: BV7 40 MKIII / SW 4.24 problem

Put another way: For the TV to turn you will have to initiate this by using the remote in the very same room as the product is in. The TV will not turn when turned off by other means than the remote control (ie timer off or system standby from a link room). Roger

  • Re: New products 2008/09

B&O is worried about having missed one generation of customers in recent years, and by stating that they will launch a new concept for land line telephony they must be eager to stress that: Young people do not sign up for "land line telephony" in this millennium. It's like ignoring the fact that "the missed generation" use

  • Re: BV7 40 MKIII / SW 4.24 problem

That's not an error: B&O do not allow their BeoVision's turn if shut down by timer or by using "system standby" via BeoLink. This is for obvious safety reasons - knocking over a candle light etc. Roger

  • Re: BV7 40 MKIII / SW 4.24 problem

Well, I do know why it's called 4.24 correction - Unless I have missed something, the correction relates to flashing of the modules and the fact that some BeoSystem 3's had to be updated module-by-module earlier: Now you simply update the H8, then select automatic update for the rest. Nothing regarding the issues we are troubled with is addressed

seanklemis: that will be interesting to find out.. did the B&o intranet tell you what it is supposed to correct? No, and I do not understand why they didn't call it 4.25 if they actually have 'corrected' something as major as the HDMI/scart sync/connection bug. I will report back tomorrow. Roger
