Hello all, I have read this thread with interest as my audio set up is quite similar to those described : I have a master 6500 with 2x CD's attatched (one cd7000 ; one cd6500) and a beocord7000. (I wanted to add a 3rd cd unit into the Tape 2 connection - but it dont work! - disappointing!) my 2nd cd unit (6500) is in the Phono socket and works perfect

No dont do it!! I had a beosystem 2500 which was the predesessor to the ouverture - the glass doors are supposed to be removeable. They will simply clip back into place in the metal bracket. This is assuming the ouverture assembly was the same as mine. Regards
