I dont see lutefisk with pickled beats and saurkraut on the menu. Very disappointing.

I usually will just replace the whole lot when we are speaking of electrolytics. Often I will spot leaking ROE's throughout the whole system on some of the older stuff say pre 1980. Some of the earlier Beomaster 5000's used them as well. My thinking is I am already in there so why not. I buy in batches a couple times a year. What I dont do is

I have one as well with the same oissues on the master tuning dial. It is partially restored but still has a loud buzzing noise present when powered up. Havent done a whole lot with it since I last messed with it almost a year ago. One of these days !!!!

The Beomaster 4000 works the same way with regard to the speaker inputs. Did you find any dead bugs etc inside the 3000 when you opened her up. You will be surprised what you will find inside these things as you move forward.

Bought mine off Burantek (Jeff) Andy. But Someone else here could use them. The Two din plugs will need to be disconnected in order to open up the unit for servicing. A closer look at the pictures will show a couple of wire harnesses feeding the cassette player. Its' PCB is located underneath the turntable as is the radio tuner section.

Yes you will have to unplug two dins that feed the line signal from the unit to the power amp board after you unplug the the two speaker like dines the upper half will lift up so you can set the service stand. for cleaning the belt goop lube oil 3 in 1 will work or you can use some gasoline. ISP in this case isnt very effective.
