Am I right in thinking that the boards in the 9300 are essentially the same as those of the Ouverture? Was the 9500 better specified as far as components are concerned?

The Type 8133 is a Mk21 Avant - 28" VCR and a 50Hz tube. It is a GB model and was introduced in 1994 and discontinued in April 1997. It would have to be very cheap to tempt me! Not sure! And I don't have a 9000 to test it with. However the CD5500 usually behaves like a record player with a built in RIAA. I don't think it will work via the Tape 2 socket as that will use Tape commands and the Phono socket has a RIAA built in and uses the wrong pin for Datalink. A Beogram 1902 is just as good as the later ones - no point in the 2402 as you do not need the link control. The Beocord 1900 is also sensible as the last of the Beocords have the wrong sensitivity Line instead of DIN. Shame as the Beocord 3500 in some ways is a better visual match! The Beogram 3500 should have a captive 7 pin DIN plug. It rather depends on which Beomaster 3000 you have. I imagine you have one of the slide rule receivers - very nice too! This has a 5 pin DIN socket for Tape 2 which is the input I would use. You need to unscrew the two extra pins in the CD3500 plug. Keep them safe! Alternatively, you might have
