Jonnie, if I was in your situation, I would remove all handsets from the base and register them all again. Maybe there are other handsets registered to the base. If there are more than six then it will ask you for a pin number (8 if it's the new small Beoline) Once you've removed them, check that there aren't any more you don't have

Interesting thing I found out today. When on a list of your recorded programs, the hard up and down arrow on Beo5 moves to the next page of recorded programs. Can't seem to replicate that with the Beo4. Andy T.

The early Bc2s were stand alone, ie one handset on one base. Are you trying to register it to the same base it had before? Andy T.

Just get a new 'bubbly' bit from your dealer. It should only cost just over a tenner (£10) Be careful when peeling off the old one though. Andy T.

In theory, you want Sat, AV A.Aux but there is no AV A.Aux. Try Sat then AV Radio, then once you have the radio coming through the BV3 speakers, press A.Aux. Andy T.

Mark, I don't know if it's the same, but I have my Avant linked to 7000 system with Beolabs in the Avant and passives in the 7000. I have both in option one and make frequent use of the AV button. I can listen to audio whilst watching (and listening if I want) TV. Andy T.

I'm grinning like a Cheshire cat this evening! Why? I have finnished restoring a Beogram 1102 that I got for about a fiver on eBay. I just plugged it into my Beolab 5000 amp,set the phono input to low and put on an LP. I chose Elton John's 'Funeral for a friend' as it is a good track to test bass, treble and stereo seperation. Awesome
