Lovely cabinet but rather large - I have one - or at least Lee does at present!! I would suggest eBay unless this thread excites anyone. The problem will always be transporting it! I don't think posting it would be very easy!

I have a black LX6000 - I prefer the rosewood one - I did have one but it was stolen.

But possibly not an early curved screen VCR model though!

Martin, have you seen the boards in a 9500? Are they Philips components or far eastern?

Actually I would rather have a good rosewood LX6000 than an early Avant. Better picture and more elegant.

Agree with Graham - if they did not put it back together properly, it is their responsibility. The service manual is on site but I wouldn't do anything that they will then say caused the problem.

Can't say I am that enthused - sounds like a bigger Beocom 4 with a colour screen and a few curves. Base has a speaker in it which will be of benefit to some. Not a killer product in my view and not as dramatic as the Beocom 2, though probably easier to use!

Afraid I have given my 9500 to a friend so cannot do pictures! Tim has rebuilt a 9500 following lightning damage so will know. I'll find out for you.

Actually both the bits you have have real value. The S60s with Trumpet stands are quite rare and the trumpet stands make them very desirable. These speakers are much the same as S75s and are lovely speakers and the trumpet stands are rare and very very fashionable - I have had a pair myself and rate them very highly.
