Have you asked B&O ? Last time I needed one, they were still available and that was about 2-3 years ago. Martin

Good thought Peter ! Place the trimmer in center position and have the meter leads connected, ready to adjust when powering up. This way you won't go wrong. The design of the amp calls for a resistor about 50 Ohms so the trimmer is 100 Ohms and the correct adjustment shouldn't be much off center. In stereo machines you will do one channel at

Exactly. Or measure across just one resistor and set to 15mV. Remember to do the adjustment while the amp is cold, with no signal and preferably with no speakers attached though it really doesn't matter much. Leave it on for 5 minutes and check again. Martin

I use 4 pcs JAMO POWER 555 with my BM8000. Contemporary and powerful. I couldn't wish for more. Martin

Could be a cap but it could also be something else, very hard to tell. The only way to find things like this is to put an oscilloscope to the signal path to see where the pop is coming from. Martin

Welcome to Beoworld, and thanks for joining as a silver member, your support is greatly appreciated ! What speakers do you use, active ? Are the popping only when playing CD's, nothing on radio stations etc. ? Martin
